Thailand’s second largest island after Phuket.
Abundant to beautiful beaches, bays and waterfalls,
the island’s attractions are divided into two groups,
the western and the eastern side.
Most of the popular attractions are located on the
western side, stretching from the north to the south. |

These include White Sand Beach, Klong Prao Beach, Kai Bae Beach, Klong Son Bay (Chang Noi Beach), Lonely Beach (Hat Tha Nam) and a fishing community of Bangbao Beach. Beaches on the west side are wide and less stony, making them more appealing to holiday
makers.
White Sand Beach is a well-developed beach area and is ideal for visitors who can’t live without life’s
luxuries, other areas like Kai Bae and Lonely beaches are excellent for those who seek peace and
privacy. The eastern side of the island is still largely unexplored, and contains less popular places like
Ao Salak Khak, Ao Kong Kangay, and a few fruit and rubber plantations as well as some fishing villages.
